- Britain, Lynden O. Pindling has been the only Prime Minister.
- But trouble in the economy, including a decline in tourism--the archipelago's main industry--ended all that. Challenger

-

-
China and South Korea announced that they will open formal
- diplomatic relations this week. Though South Korea remains a
- close U.S. ally, Seoul is also an increasingly important trading

- with Seoul. South Korean President Roh Tae Woo is expected to
- visit Beijing in October.
